Recently, World Health Organization released some very concerning facts about daily sugar intake and its impact on health. WHO recommended to drastically reduce sugar intake in everyday life.
Nowadays, most people are aware of the high sugar content of sodas and pop. What is interesting is that even “healthy” drinks such as fruit juices, smoothies, fruit cocktails etc. have equally high sugar content. Quick look on Google reveals some interesting facts: UK Telegraph and The Huffington Post published quite alarming facts about how healthy are “healthy” drinks. Interestingly there are very few if any links to US sources on Google – go figure!
Please keep in mind: teeth can be relatively easily fixed or replaced, your body’s overall health is a much more serious matter.
